Measuring Terminal MT-20S

Measuring Terminals MT-20S are upgraded MT-20 power quality monitors in accordance with the new standard IEC 61000-4-30 Ed.3 class S and are intended for measuring, monitoring, registering and analyzing the quality of power quantities in energy production and distribution systems. By quickly sampling the measured current and voltage quantities, the processor calculates the true RMS values of the current, voltage, power, energy, power factor and frequency. In addition to measuring the current electrical quantities, the processor calculates the maximum, mean and minimum values of current, voltage, power in the time interval (MD) and registers the specified quantities.

In accordance with EN 50160 and the new standard IEC 61000-4-30 Ed.3 class S, it analyzes the quality of the electrical parameters of the grid (harmonic distortion, harmonic content, voltage dips and drops, voltage flicker, asymmetry etc.) Registration and processing of measured values is performed using MT-DIALOG 3 software. Using the graphic LCD, information on the status of a particular part of the grid is available locally. Four communication lines and Quality Control Systems MTPQS, IPQS, or Web Browser enable a very cost-effective remote grid quality monitoring.
