Monitoring and Control Terminal UST-10Gc RN

Monitoring and Control Terminal UST-10Gc-RN is the basic element of the DT-20RN Remote Terminal for controlling, measuring, signaling and monitoring the status of a medium voltage distribution disconnecting device. Disconnecting switch management can be performed locally via the keyboard and remotely via the communication unit. In addition to the UST-10Gc-RN control function, the LCD can graphically display the selected configuration of medium voltage disconnecting devices with alphanumeric markings of individual device. Any change in the condition of the device dynamically changes the image on the display.

Monitoring and Control Terminal also enables alarm function with 16 LED elements. Different states of the medium voltage disconnecting device and the entire remote control system can be alarmed by their contacts (e.g. feeder fault type indication, SF6 gas status, power failure, low battery voltage, cabinet high temperature etc.).

With an additional IK-15 Fault Indicator connected to unconventional current and / or voltage sensors (NS-20, SS-30) UST-10Gc-RN can detect a short circuit and ground fault in a grounded overhead grid and measure I, U, P, Q, S and f.

If the UST-10Gc-RN is connected with the IK-20 Fault Indicator which is in turn connected to the unconventional sensors, the function of the ground fault and short circuit indication in the non-grounded overhead grid can be realized.

The Monitoring and Control Terminal is a multifunctional element of the DT series Remote Terminals which, depending on the type of grid, allows the automation of the medium voltage smart grid.
