Remote Terminal DT-10TSc, type 2

DT-10TSc Remote Terminal is a part of the range of DT-10TS Remote Terminals designed for remote and local control and monitoring of distribution / industrial transformers and renewable energy source connection. The Remote Terminal is used for remote and local control, monitoring and signaling of the switchgear and transformer status in the substation. With graphic LCD, keypad and DT-DIALOG software, the user has the possibility to easily select one of the predefined single-pole diagrams of the switchgear of different manufacturers which allows the Remote Terminals for different types of switchgears to be easily operated and maintained. The control and monitoring of the substation from the control center is performed remotely, depending on the type of available communication link (radio connection, GPRS connection or optical connection) according to IEC 60870-5-101 or IEC 60870-5-104 protocol.

The Remote Terminal can also be equipped with the Fault Indicator unit, in order to detect ground fault and short circuit fault of the feeder by using the SS-xx series of Current Sensors. The fault indication can also be realized by a communication or wire connection to standard Fault Indicators e.g. IK-10 (5). The Remote Terminal has its own, uninterruptible 48V DC for powering the system elements as well as the switchgear appliance. Every manipulation of switchgear and alarm signaling is chronologically registered at the terminal and can be read locally and remotely.

The DT-10TSc Remote Terminal is designed in a single cabinet and represents a very economical type of remote control and management of substation 10 (20) / 0.4 kV with a compact switchgear or the substation for connecting renewable energy source to the low voltage grid.
