Measuring Terminal MT-10SQ

MT-10SQ Measuring Terminal is intended for measuring, monitoring, control and analyzing energy quantities in low voltage and medium voltage switchgears, distribution and industrial substations. MT-10SQ replaces more than 50 convectional measuring instruments and metering converters. In addition to measuring the power quantities, the Q designated terminal also allows the analysis of voltage and current distortion (THD measurement, measurement of individual harmonics of current and voltage, measurement of asymmetry, measurement of phase angles between voltages and current).

Due to the built-in large memory (2MB to 8GB), the Measuring Terminal has the capability to register peak, mean and minimum values of current and voltage, as well as power, energy and daily, monthly and yearly time stamps. If three digital inputs are used to collect tariff information (e.g. from MTU receivers), MT-10SQ can register total active and reactive energy for each tariff as well as the total amount of energy. During periodic inspection of the plant, the collected data are read out using the Handheld Terminal RT-SQ or personal computer. Registration and analysis of measurements is performed using the MT-DIALOG 3 software package. Connecting the device via RS485, optical or Ethernet communication to ITE-2 Info Terminals all measured and registered data may be available online.
